Best regards, Davide and Amanda -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Next EU-US I-mode meeting and call for experiments Date: Wed, 17 Sep 2025 16:59:21 +0200 From: Davide Silvagni <davide.silvagni@ipp.mpg.de> To: eu-us-wg-imode@lists.euro-fusion.org Dear EU-US I-mode team, we will have our next I-mode WG meeting on *Tuesday 23rd September at 10:30 am EDT / 4:30 pm CET / 7:30 am PDT*. Zoom connection details: https://zoom.us/j/94810547070?pwd=Z1N5L2U5N1BmYUYwQW4xSlNldHZwUT09 ID: 948-1054-7070 / PW: 021741 The agenda of the meeting is: * D. Fajardo: initial report on detached / high-radiative fraction Argon-seeded I-modes in AUG * Discussion on I-mode experimental proposals for 2026-2027 (and more broadly proposed task work) Concerning the last point, there are three open calls for experiments with deadlines approaching soon: AUG internal call for 2026 campaign (deadline 7th October), WEST internal call for 2026 campaign (deadline 3rd October) and EUROfusion WPTE call (covering AUG, WEST, MAST-U and TCV) for both 2026 and 2027 (deadline 10th of October). You can find the relevant documents in attachment. A call for 2026 DIII-D proposals is expected later this fall. Towards the end of the year we will hold another meeting where there will be reports on the 2025 tasks (so mainly multi-machine confinement time, separatrix operational space + summary of experimental results at DIII-D and hopefully WEST). We also created a mailing list, mainly to facilitate our job. From now on, we can use the email address eu-us-wg-imode@lists.euro-fusion.org to exchange emails with the whole group. This should include all those who have signed up and been getting WG emails via large cc list - please let us know of issues or changes to your preferred address. Best regards, Davide and Amanda
